Mervatt Eljaouhari

Mervatt Eljaouhari joined the Firm in 2017 and focuses her practice on helping families and businesses protect their assets and plan for the future.

Mervatt has an undergraduate degree in International Business, a Juris Doctor and Masters of Business Administration from Loyola University New Orleans.

She is a native New Orleanian.

Mervatt has extensive experience in complex estate planning, wealth protection, family business growth strategy, and general business matters. She has advised clients on the use and formation of trusts, including special needs trusts, testamentary trusts, and living trusts. Mervatt’s focus on wills, powers of attorney and health care documentation is a valuable asset to any family or business planning endeavor. She also has experience litigating successions.

On the business side, Mervatt is a Certified Value Builder by The Value Builder System and has advised businesses on contract negotiation, employment agreements, entity formation, buy/sell agreements and business exit strategies.

Mervatt is a member of the French Quarter Business Association and is an attorney accredited with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. She enjoys traveling to see her family abroad, any time on the water, and taking in all the live music New Orleans has to offer.
